No freaking way! You know how important this game with Columbus is! Now we know we have Katrina Doell to thank for Dee's social media connections, thank God for that! We would'nt be getting this exceptiional coverage of the Isles if it was'nt for her! Thanks Katrina
DiPietro did not play at all after having sports hernia surgery in January, but he has recovered and has resumed working out with Mike Dunham, the goaltender coach. He said he feels fantastic, good enough to play in a game and eager for training camp.
“I talked to Snowy about maybe putting me in some bubble wrap throughout the summer to make sure nothing happens,” DiPietro said, referring to General Manager Garth Snow. He added: “I wish the season could start right now.”

Well thursday game was a useless win, almost ironic that we win games when it doesnt count.
Maybe its me, but if the isles are way off from playoff contention, an closer to getting a better pick, I choose the pick.
Dont be mistaken, that I would not care about the pick, if I saw progression, something I did not see this year.
Bottom line is, we will win tonight, an ruin our chances at the 4th pick,

That's like the fourth time I've heard him say that. I'm not worried. Come next season he'll play four games, sneeze, tear an abdominal muscle, and be out for the year.

Hes got nine years to dissappoint the fan base further Between DP, Snow, and Wang how can anyone take the Islanders seriously? Really think about that - Cptmjl
Not that I feel bad for Wang but DP is getting paid to do nothing. Wang is crazy if he does not end this DP mess once and for all especially if there is a buyout option.
I will be happy with Dumba, Trouba, Murray or Forsberg.
Take your pick. - jimmc7722
My choices, in order:
1. Murray
2. Dumba
3. Trouba
4. Reinhart
I'm sure Forsberg will be a fine player, but it's time to start building this teams defense. There's a couple building blocks in there, but nothing elite. Only way I want a forward is if we win the lottery and can take Yakupov or Grigorenko. Galchenyuk really interests me but that would be a major risk.
